2025 Convention

The Person County GOP leadership team — consisting of: PJ Gentry (Chair), Kathy Lawrence (Vice Chair), Ken Lawrence (Secretary), and Jimmie Whitfield (Treasurer) — invites all Person County Republicans to join us for this year's convention.  The convention will be held on:

Saturday, March 1st, 2025

The relevant business to be addressed at this year's annual convention will be the election of party leadership for the following roles.

Chair  |  Vice Chair  |  Secretary  |  Treasurer

During convention, the credentialing committee will notify attendees of which individual nominees qualify as leadership candidates in accordance with our 2024 PCGOP Plan of Organization.  Qualifying candidates will have the opportunity to address the convention.  We will then cast votes for the candidate of our choosing, for each role independently.  Newly elected officers will commence their term immediately, and will serve a 2-year term which ends at the March 2027 Convention.

PCGOP Convention begins 9:00 AM

Location: Person County Auditorium (across from Huck Sansbury Recreation Complex & Park) at 304 S. Morgan St, Roxboro, NC

Person County Republicans, registered as of January 31st, 2025, are eligible to attend.  This is a Person County GOP party meeting, and it is not open to the public.
