Donald Long for Person County Commissioner

Hello, I am Donald Long, and I am asking for your vote for a seat on the Board of Person County Commissioners to bring forth new ideas, forward thinking, and sound business principles with corporate business management experience, and small business ownership.  I have experience making a weekly payroll, and take pride in Person County.  I own a farm, and support our rural character and farming community.  I am a former Chairman of Roxboro Community School Board, I served on the "At Risk Student" task force by appointment of the Person County Commissioners in the 1990's, and served as vice-chairman of the successful bond referendum for the expansion of Person County schools.  I willing to meet, listen, and represent you the TAXPAYER.

Together, we stand on the threshold of better days ahead for each of us, and for Person County.  We need vision, we need leadership, and we need common sense.  We need someone willing to say "No" when needed and provide transparency.

I am ready to stand with you, and be that leader.  Let me be one of those new, steady hands to lead the way.  I am Donald Long and I humbly ask for your consideration, I ask for your trust, I ask for your prayers, and I ask for your vote for Person County Commissioner to continue "Working for the Taxpayer"!
