Lt. Governor’s FACTS Task Force Update

Lt. Governor Mark Robinson has initiated a FACTS task force to determine the extent of leftist ‘indoctrination’ currently going on in our education system.  This task force has been set up with a website and an online form for citizens to fill out (anonymously) and send back with reports of attempts by local school boards and teachers to introduce and promote various types of leftist agenda programs such as ‘critical race theory’ teaching (a totally racist, anti-white agenda that is based on the false premise of ‘systemic racism’ in our society), pro-LGBTQ++ (ad nauseum) teaching, and so forth.  There are many such radical, ultimately destructive to our children garbage programs being pushed by the left onto school systems.

The ultimate goal of this initiative is to collect information on what is going on in NC schools, inform the public about this, and promote grass-roots push back, legal challenges, and parental involvement to stop it.

More information can be found at lt.gov.ncgov/facts.  The online report form is also at this site.

This highlights how essential it is for conservatives to get involved with our schools, regardless of whether you have children in the system!  The PC Republican club is seeking and encouraging conservatives to consider running for local school boards.  Please contact the club at [email protected] if you wish to get involved.

Post follow-up:  parent groups are organizing all across the country to stop this insidious ‘critical race theory’ being pushed on schools.  One such group is Parents Against Critical Race Theory in Loudon County VA, which is composed of people of multiple backgrounds and ‘racial groups’.  What a shame it is that everyone is categorized, labeled, and cataloged by their ‘race’ or ethnic background.  More information on this subject will be presented in later newsletters.

A Brief Update on the North Carolina Senate Race

The North Carolina 2022 Senate race is beginning to take form.  The Democrats have several interested individuals who have announced their candidacy to include state Senator Jeff Jackson, Rhett Newton, mayor of Beaufort, former state Senator Erica Smith and scientist, Dr. Richard Watkins.  At the time of this publication the announcement of Cheri Beasley, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of North Carolina is pending.

The Republicans are also gaining in candidates with former Governor Pat McCrory throwing his hat into the ring along with former U.S. Representative Mark Walker.  At this time Walker has been endorsed by some heavy party hitters to include Senators James Lankford (OK) and Tim Scott (SC), former Governor Mike Huckabee (AR) and former Congressman Paul Ryan (WI).  Other interested individuals include U.S. Representative Ted Bud of the 13 District and Lara Trump, a TV producer and Senior Campaign Advisor to former President Donald Trump who is also his daughter-in-law.

The coming months will prove an interesting time for both parties as the candidates refine their platforms and their campaigns.
